ARC Ensemble (Artists of The Royal Conservatory)
The Royal Conservatory’s ARC Ensemble is a chamber music group made up of senior faculty at The Glenn Gould School. The Ensemble serves as an international ambassador for The Glenn Gould School through its tours in Canada and around the world.
The ARC Ensemble is a leader in a field that is working to uncover musical repertoire previously lost or suppressed due to political or social upheaval caused by world events. The group’s acclaimed Music in Exile project specifically aims to uncover and present lost works by Jewish composers whose lives and careers were damaged or destroyed as a result of the Nazi regime’s anti-Semitism.
How You Can Help
ARC relies on the generous financial support of its donors to cover the costs of research, score preparation, recording, performance and promotion. Your support will ensure that the recovery and revival of musical masterworks and a lost cultural heritage can continue.
