Click the button below or at the top of this page to pay application fee for the Oscar Peterson School of Music's (OSPM) Summer Piano Performance Intensive. When completing the Application you will be required to:
- submit two (2) audition pieces of contrasting RCM lists or time periods*
- provide RCM examination history (if applicable)
- provide previous performance and/or competition experience
- provide your current teacher's name
*Pieces may be recorded in one take or separately and submitted via YouTube unlisted links. Classical repertoire is preferred. Please submit URLs to the file (ex. through your personal YouTube or Vimeo account), and include Title (and Movement if applicable) and Composer of each piece you are submitting for audition.

ACCEPTANCE
Notifications of Acceptance will be emailed by April 1, 2025.
Students who are accepted will be invoiced for a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the tuition fee, which is due within 14 days of acceptance (April 15, 2025).

REGISTRATION
Students who have paid the 25% deposit will be invoiced for the remaining tuition. Full payment of the tuition balance is due by May 1, 2025.
Any requests to withdraw after May 1, 2025 are subject to OPSM's Registration Policies.
Join us in Summer 2025 for the inaugural Piano Performance Intensive, presented by The Royal Conservatory’s Oscar Peterson School of Music.
Taking place at our historic downtown Toronto location, students will enjoy an inspiring program that will challenge and develop their artistry. Young pianists will study with leading piano pedagogues, including Glenn Gould School faculty, RCM examiners, and internationally renowned guest artists.

This 12-day performance program is open to two groups of students:
- Advanced Intensive for pianists playing at RCM Levels 9, 10, and ARCT
- Intermediate Intensive for pianists playing at RCM Levels 7 and 8
Students accepted into the Summer Piano Performance Intensive will engage in all aspects of musical performance, as well as social and group activities, and attending performances by faculty, guest artists, and fellow students.
- two 1-hour private lessons weekly
- master classes led by guest artists
- daily practice sessions
- developing technique and practice strategies
- musicianship and theory
- improvisation
- history and literature
- repertoire exploration through storytelling
- assessment and examinations
- piano ensemble practice.
Each student will receive a Certificate of Participation from The Royal Conservatory upon completion of this 12-day intensive.
