Supporting Student Success

The Journal of Hélène Berr – begins January 21 | 7:30PM (3 performances) 

  • Bernard Foccroulle’s moving portrait of a Parisian Jewish student deported to Auschwitz is brought to life by alumni and students of The Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School. Tickets starting from $21

Jan 25 | 7:30PM: The Glenn Gould School Vocal Showcase 

  • A wonderful opportunity to see The Glenn Gould School’s talented voice students present an evening of art songs and opera excerpts. Tickets from $20

Jan 24 | 8:00PM: Measha Brueggergosman-Lee 

  • The Canadian soprano brings to life composer Aaron Davis’s Zombie Blizzard, a song cycle of seven concert arias for voice, jazz trio, and brass orchestra, based on Margaret Atwood’s 2020 book of poetry, Dearly. Tickets starting from $21

Feb 7 | 8:00PM: Royal Conservatory Orchestra with conductor Naomi Woo and soloist Jerry Hu, piano 

  • Canadian conductor and pianist Naomi Woo is a widely sought-after symphonic and operatic conductor, an educator, and the 2022 winner of the Canada Council’s prestigious Virginia Parker Prize.  Jerry Hu, BMus ’27 (GGS), currently enrolled in The Ihnatowycz Piano Program, is also a winner of The Robert W. and G. Ann Corcoran Concerto Competition. Tickets from $25

Feb 28 | 8:00PM: Pierre-Laurent Aimard, piano 

  •  Considered a “brilliant musician and an extraordinary visionary” (The Wall Street Journal) and a master performer of Beethoven, French pianist Aimard enjoys an internationally celebrated career. Tickets starting at $50

Mar 19 & 21 | 7:30PM: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) 

  • Considered one of the greatest operas ever written, Mozart’s timeless classic is about love, truth, and the pursuit of enlightenment. Sung in German with English surtitles. Tickets from $25

Mar 25 | 8:00PM: Angélique Kidjo 

  • Five-time Grammy Award-winning Kidjo has cemented her status as one of the most singular and extraordinary voices in international music. Tickets starting at $65. ​

Jan 22 | 7:00PM: The Robert W. and G. Ann Corcoran Concerto Competition Finals 

  • Students of The Glenn Gould School compete for the opportunity to perform a concerto with the Royal Conservatory Orchestra during the 2025.26 concert season. This event takes place in Koerner Hall and free tickets will be available on January 15, 10AM. 

Recitals by The Taylor Academy 

  • As part of their formal music training, students at The Taylor Academy, a one-of-a-kind extracurricular program for gifted musicians ages 8 – 18, perform free recitals throughout the academic year.  

Mar 26 | 7:00PM: The Glenn Gould School Chamber Competition Finals 

  • Chamber ensembles from the Glenn Gould School perform before a celebrated jury, competing for over $11,000 in awards. This event takes place in Koerner Hall and free tickets will be available on March 19, 10AM. 

Master Classes of The Glenn Gould School 

  • Our master class program is one of the finest in North America where musical artists of the highest calibre work with our students. Some of this winter’s master class artists include pianists Ronan O'Hora (January 10), Jeremy Denk (February 7), Sewart Goodyear (February 14), percussionist, Matt Strauss (March 28)! Classes take place in either Mazzoleni Hall or Temerty Theatre
