The Glenn Gould School Chamber Competition is a free annual event and an outstanding opportunity to hear classical music performed by small ensembles comprised of the next generation of artists – students of The Glenn Gould School. The finals take place in the stunning acoustics of The Royal Conservatory's Koerner Hall with over $11,000 in prizes available to be won!

Chamber Groups (three or more):

  • 1st prize | $3,500: Cherry Trio (Anna Štube, violin; Grace Lau, viola; Mira Kardan, cello)
  • 2nd prize | $2,500: Trio Pomme (Tiffany Yeung, violin; Sua Kwoun, cello; Jerry Hu, piano)
  • 3rd prize | $1,500: Trio Brothers (Yen-Han Chen, clarinet; Adrian Nicolas Ong, violin; Colin Chang, piano)

Duos:

  • 1st prize | $1,500: Bronde Duo (Maria Jojatu & Ehrentraud Moser, violins)
  • ​2nd prize | $1,250: Duo Castillo (Chelsea Ahn & Gloriana Wolf, pianos)
  • 3rd prize | $1,000: Riviera Duo (Daria Schibitcaia, violin; Hon Yu (Richard) Wong, piano)
  • Grand Prize | $500 per group member: Bronde Duo (Maria Jojatu, Ehrentraud Moser)

The winners are chosen every year by a jury of internationally acclaimed artists, which in 2025 included: Max Levenson, piano; Lesley Robertson, viola; Ransom Wilson, flute.

This year’s Glenn Gould School Chamber Competition Finals will be held in Koerner Hall on March 31, 2026, and free tickets will be available starting from 10am on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. The event will also be livestreamed.
