A Message from the President
Alexander Brose

The Glenn Gould School offers gifted young artists the optimum conditions in which to develop their talents and to find their individual voices. We named The School after Conservatory alumnus Glenn Gould because he exemplified excellence and creativity at the highest possible level. Gould was also a pioneer in exploring the frontiers of performance practice through technology and multimedia, in an effort to broaden the possibilities of communication and understanding between human beings. With the opening of Koerner Hall, our students are now part of an integrated performance training and performing arts centre. This unique combination is attracting gifted young artists from every part of the world. We hope you will join us and become part of this extraordinary community of students, teachers, and performers.

The Glenn Gould School is one of the few music schools in North America dedicated exclusively to performance. With a maximum enrollment of 130, our students have as many performance opportunities as they can prepare for, and virtually unlimited access to practice studios. Our faculty members are all highly regarded performers in their own right, as well as gifted and committed teachers. Our facilities are superb and our financial assistance, competitive.

The Glenn Gould School is the ideal destination for a student who has made a conscious decision to pursue a career as an instrumentalist or singer. With our small scale, internationally recognized faculty, and immersive performance environment, our students have access to everything they need to fulfill their dreams.
