Scholarship Support

The Glenn Gould School (GGS) is able to offer EVERY student substantial scholarship support for the duration of their program.

More specifically, 70% of GGS students receive full tuition scholarships, and the remainder, both Domestic and International, typically receive tuition scholarships between 65-85%.

GGS tuition fees are established by The Royal Conservatory of Music and are subject to change at any time. The two components of the annual fees are: Academic (including instruction), and Ancillary Fees (including Library, Health Service, and Student Organizations).

Compulsory fees for registration consists of academic, and ancillary fees. Academic fees vary depending on program of study. All students are charged a program fee for the number of years of study. Students in the Bachelor of Music, Performance (Honours)* program are charged a program fee for four (4) years. Students in the Artist Diploma Program are charged a program fee for two (2) years.

A program fee is a set fee for the fall-winter academic session regardless of a student’s course load.

Fee Level Commitment

The Glenn Gould School has a policy that students will be told in advance what the maximum fee increases will be as they continue through their programs, for the normal length of a full-time program of study - two (2) to four (4) year. Returning students will not see their fees rise by more than 5% per year. Students who exceed the normal length of their program will be charged the same tuition as students in the final year of that program.
